Chocolate and Summer Heat

Did you know that good quality chocolate softens at 80 degrees and liquifies at 90 degrees? We do not use preservatives in our products so we need to be aware at all times where our product is going and the current temperatures. During the summer months we rarely ship our treats because the heat makes it nearly impossible to have our product arrive in the great condition it's shipped out in. Ice packs work to a small degree but they tend to melt too quickly. We don't want your thoughtful gift to arrive as a melted puddle in need of a spoon.
